Jalori Pass is one of the most picturesque mountain passes in Himachal Pradesh, connecting the Shimla Valley with Kullu Valley.

The pass remains open for most of the year except during heavy snowfall in peak winters. It is known for its panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas, lush green meadows, and dense forests. The air here is crisp and fresh, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and photography.

The Popular Jalori Mata Temple

The pass is also an important historical route, once used by traders and shepherds. Today, it attracts trekkers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts who seek solitude away from the crowds of mainstream tourist destinations.

The rugged yet scenic drive to the top offers an adventure in itself, with winding roads and occasional glimpses of wildlife such as Himalayan monals and barking deer.

At the top of the pass, you will also find Jalori Mata Mandir, a small yet sacred temple dedicated to the local deity, where travelers often stop to seek blessings before continuing their journey.
